Borderland examines the fragile threshold between image and transformation. Through the process of distortion the original image is algorithmically fractured and reassembled, generating a new visual terrain that oscillates between distortion and renewal. The resulting imagery evokes flowing textures, and shifting formations reminiscent of waterfalls or eroded rockfaces. The work operates within a tension between decay and creation. Borderland reveals how beauty can emerge from disruption, how systems of order can give rise to something organic through their dissolution.
